Richard Hauser’s practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, estate administration, corporate succession strategies, probate, and not-for-profit law.

Clients ranging from individuals to entire multi-generation families turn to Dick for help in planning their wills, powers of attorney and structuring their estates to ensure that their loved ones will be protected after they pass away.  Because no estate planning matter is routine, every client and situation gets his personal attention.

Dick knows that estate planning is about his client’s legacy.  He will custom design a plan providing for the efficient distribution of your assets to your loved ones and favorite charitable organizations while managing the tax implications of your estate plan to minimize death taxes.

Dick helps business owners structure corporate succession plans that will transfer family wealth to the next generation with minimal tax consequences. He also advises property owners who wish to transfer family vacation properties to their children’s families as seamlessly as possible.

All the attorneys at the Pinkert Law Firm are heavily involved in the community, including Dick, who regularly lectures at estate and succession planning seminars for community members, professional groups and non-profits. He is a board member of Ministry Door County Medical Center Foundation, Door County Maritime Museum, Door County Community Foundation, Crossroads at Big Creek, St. Joseph Church Finance Committee and the UW Alumni Club of Door County.

Spending time with his family is tops on Dick’s list of favorite activities outside of work, followed by golf, travel, being outdoors and an occasional Packer game.
